MANAGEMENT COMMITMENT AND PHILOSOPHY

1.1       SAFETY AND SECURITY POLICY STATEMENT

1.1.1    To perform work on this project in a manner that protects the safety and security of employees and the public.

1.1.2    Safety and security shall be priority considerations in the planning and execution of all work activities on this project.

1.1.3    The design, construction, testing, and start-up of the project will comply with applicable safety and security laws, regulations, and requirement         

1.2       SAFETY & SECURITY MANAGEMENT PLAN GOAL

1.2.1    To integrate safety and security activities into every phase of the project.

1.2.2    To describe a program that ensures the project is safe and secure for employees and the general public during construction and upon entering full phase and normal/regular operations of the project.

1.2.3    SUB-Goals:

1.2.3.1 Clear determination regarding acceptable safety and security risks.

1.2.3.2 Verification that an acceptable level of safety and security is designed into the project.

1.2.3.3 Consistent evaluation of safety and security risk throughout the project development process.

1.2.3.4 Consistent application of safety and security certification to support initiation of the project into revenue service.

1.2.3.5 To identify all safety and security tasks that will be performed throughout the project.

1.2.3.6 To assign resources for their performance.

1.2.3.7 To develop policies and procedures for management review and evaluation of safety and security activities.
